Press Release: Launch of Pearl Dental Software NHS Edition

BHA announces availability of Pearl for NHS practices

Pearl Dental Software Now Available for Dentists Providing NHS Services

Pearl Dental Software NHS Edition is now available for evaluation and purchase by independent private dentists and small chains. It is a full-function practice management system with an enhanced user interface and support for cloud-computing.

This new version of Pearl has gone through an extensive Beta test and early-adopter programme to ensure its quality matches the excellent reputation established by earlier Pearl products. The new architecture and user interface have improved data handling and made the system one of the easiest to use and most intuitive software packages on the market.

One of the early-adopters is JDRM Dental Care Ltd, a chain of dental practices operating in the East Midlands. JDRM recently won an NHS contract to provide emergency dental care across the Leicester area, which meant a rapid 350% expansion of the business. To make sure Pearl was online at all JDRM’s new practices, owners Dr Jai Dhaliwal and Dr Ruby Mahal agreed to become part of the Beta Test and early adopter programmes, meaning they had early access to the product and could make suggestions about how the commercial version would work.

Jai Dhaliwal of JDRM said; “We knew we wanted Pearl across all our practices from Day One. We knew that the product was going to be refreshed and would incorporate the latest NHS changes. So we wanted to make sure it supported them the way we felt it should,” explains Jai. “The new version is already proven in private practice. We were quite prepared to help get it ready for Mixed practice if that meant we could open our doors using the latest incarnation of our favourite system.”

Full details of the product can be found at the Pearl Dental Software website
